1. Harvesting
The wool is sheared from the animal

The wool is combined from various bales to get a uniform quality
3. Scouring
The wool is washed to remove impurities e.g. dirt, wax, salt, skin,…
4. Carding
Untangling clumps and removing more dirt.

Making the slivers smaller while keeping the integrity of the strand
7. Spinning
Turning the roving into yarn by winding them together
